Quintuplets !!!

Today I visited  the infertility doctor since he wanted to check me as well. I truly thought that I had to go to my OBG instead of going back to him. Any how, I had my second ultrasound done and the doctor confirmed that I am having 5 babies not 6. Also, since I am having multiples..... the doctor referred me to a high risk group of doctors. UT Physicians will take care of me until I deliver.

Who we are...

Let me tell you some about us...... Enrique and I got married in 2004 and our first year of being married we never worried about babies since I already had Fernando, who then was 2 years old (by the way.... he was our ring-bearer). I was trying to conceive since 2005 without any luck. My gynecologist did several tests and some irregularities were found but she advised me that it was nothing to be worried about and the treatment and medicine will resolved it. Almost 5 years passed (I also changed doctors like 3 times) until I finally got to a wonderful lady doctor that after reviewing my case, referred me to an infertility doctor.
I know people that has been trying for several years with medicine, IUI, and even IVF with no luck..... let me tell you that we only tried twice with the infertility doctor and that second time did it. The first time we tried the IUI but nothing happened.... then the following month we did it the traditional way with the help of the medicine that made me ovulate. And hurray!!!!! I got pregnant..... although we did not expected to have 5 at once..... it has been a blessing in so many ways.

Amazing News !!!

Knowing I was pregnant, my doctor scheduled me for a follow up ultrasound almost a month after. I almost fainted with the news...... I was having 5 or 6 babies.

                                                Feb. 24.......A day that I will never forget.  ;)
