Anatomical Ultrasound

I had my 4th. ultrasound done and my husband Enrique and my son Fernando came with me. The ultrasound that the tech did today was more detailed. I was on my back for more than 3 hours because they wanted to measure them and check they're growing properly. Also, I was told how many boys and how many girls I'm having !!!! 

 

                                                               Quint A is a Boy...

                                                                  Quint B is...... a Girl

                                                                 Quint C is a Boy

                                                                 Quint D is a Girl

and finally....... Quint E is a Boy.

So now, lets start looking for NAMES!!!!!!!!

Scary Experience :s

I am the leader of my church's ladies group and I love to be involved in church activities. Every 1st. Friday of the month our group is in charge of the worship to God and preaching God's words. This past friday while leading a prayer before preaching I felt something going down on my leg.... I looked down and it was blood! Therefore I gave the microphone to my Pastor and my lady Pastor as well as some sisters went with me inside the restroom and prayed for me. I wasn't able to really think clearly, I was just hoping for all the babies to be fine; then, I felt more blood coming down, this time it was the same as when the water brakes.... 
I was taken by the ambulance to the Memorial Hermann in the medical center and they took me to the technician to have an ultrasound done... I was very calm by then... trusting God's wills, and I was so happy when I saw each of the babies moving inside of me!!!!! The doctor on-call as well as the E.R. doctor concluded that my body created a hematoma due to all the extra placenta my  system was making. They just kept me overnight and allowed me to go the next day..... also, they said I needed bed rest until the hematoma comes out and to take it easy....    so scary indeed!!!

Changing Doctors....

Since my pregnancy is considered high risk... my doctor referred me to the UT Physicians Group in the medical center.This is my third ultrasound and all the babies were moving like fish in the water.... hi hi hi!  The doctor assigned each a letter to record their progress. Also, according to the doctor I have 11 weeks and 3 days...

Fernando's 8th Birthday...

Even though the news of having quintuplets was overwelming, I still have to focus on Fernando. He is so funny!!!! For so long he has been the only one in our lives and I don't want him to fell felt aside at all.
So ...... we celebrated his birthday and the theme was Madagascar.

                                                   He was so happy...!!!

By the way, I forgot to mention how Fernando reacted to the news..... maybe later.
