Getting bigger and tired....

Everyday I wake up, order my breakfast, take a shower, dress up, and put make up on... (I even blow dry my hair), .....but today I can hardly move. I fell so heavy!

Still, my sister made me to stand up to take a picture of my belly!

I also had an ultrasound done today and I heard the babies heart beat..... sorry, NO ultrasound pictures at this time....

Not much...

I don't have much to tell you. Right now, I am 28 weeks and 2 days..... and I am weighting 228 pounds.
Doctors expect me to deliver at the 34th week.... so far so good!

Hospital Admission...

Is it time or not? Only God knows..... but for sure I no longer want to be traveling back and forth from the doctors office.... It is a good 40-45 minutes travel time if there is no traffic.
Now, the main reason is because I got really scared after the car accident I had back on the 4th of July. Yes... while some of you were watching the fireworks in the Woodlands area, I was taken to the Memorial Hermann by the ambulance. We were exiting on the Woodlands Parkway and all of the sudden the cars in front of us started pressing the breaks... and so we did... but the car behind us couldn't.  The other car threw us to first and second lane from the right.... we were blocking the way... and for a few seconds I got speechless watching how the cars coming our way started to shift to the other lanes to not hit us...  Enrique's words were "are you ok? are you ok?" to which I responded "yes..... move the car out of the way" and so he did. Honestly God is great because we could have died.
Any how.... today is my first day as inpatient!!!!

Father's day

Since I can not be out that much, we spent Father's Day at my house......   My sister Viviana cooked for us and everything was delicious!

My Mom is back.....

Happy, happy....my mom is back !!!! She arrived a few days ago to help me (She is making sure I'm eating properly)... Love it! Now Enrique is less stressed about the things at the house as well as me eating...... well, he still calls to check on me but not as before....  hi hi hi.

When I told my mom that I was expecting 5 babies she almost fainted.... actually, she did not believed me at first and her words were "Don't play like that Veronica", and after sending her the ultrasound picture... then, she almost fainted. Same thing with Enrique, my sisters, dad, and all my friends. I was in quite shock myself but I got used to the idea within some hours of knowing the news. The odd part was telling Fernando about it. I clearly remember how he acted, silly Fernando..... he wanted us to keep one baby and to give the others up.
Fernando: "I have an idea..... why don't we keep one, and we can give one to Titi, one to Vivi, one to Vanessa, and one to grandma".....
Me: "ohhhh no Fernando, we are not talking about puppies here..... we need to keep them all and take good care of them"
Fernando: "but we just wanted one"
Me: " yes.... but Papito Dios (God) have different plans for us..."
Fernando: (turned around, closed his eyes, and... said) "Why, why, Lord why???"
(by this time I couldn't stop laughing)..... but after a few days he got used to the idea of being a Big Brother of "5". !
By the way.... Titi, Vivi, and Vanessa are my sisters who have also been a great support during this time. Viviana and Grecia (Titi) have been doing my chores and cleaning my house as well as preparing a second Baby shower for me with the assistance of my cousin Diana. Vanessa lives in Austin, but she's coming this weekend.
Thank you Lord for giving me the family I have!

Fifth Ultrasound and Baby Shower !!!

Yeap, I have been away from the blog not doing much, just taking care of myself...... actually Fernando and Enrique have. I am getting tired very easily and I mainly eating oranges, cereal (that Fernando prepares for me when he arrives from school) and the great dinner my husband makes for the three of us.
I had my 5th. ultrasound today and I am still on bed rest but with less restrictions and not gaining much weight. My doctor said that the babies are growing just fine and to keep working hard.... ohhh and to take all my vitamins (I was prescribed extra iron).

Also, my sisters at church threw a party for me before the doctors ask me to be admitted at the hospital.This happened just a few days ago on May 22nd. I had so much fun and we received so many presents.... I'm very thankful for their love and care!
